We talk about this when we discuss Product Discovery. A true decision-making process that precedes Delivery: before starting to build something, we should ask ourselves what to build. But Discovery becomes continuous when we think about the product.
Yes, because by definition the product is never finished but capable of evolving and potentially improving in infinite iterations. With the sole aim of responding better and better to user needs, without forgetting the company's business model.
That's why we talk about Continuous Discovery. When we have a product mindsetโ, we know that we don't release outputs, but we constantly ask ourselves what impact these outputs have. And start again from the outcomes.
So, Product Discovery starts from an outcome and then sets off on a winding and mysterious path that unfolds in the search for opportunities, combining user research and analysis, to arrive at the elaboration of solutions.

There are a myriad of frameworks and tools that help us carry out Discovery, supporting us in research, comparison and analysis. The risk of getting lost and not being able to follow an ordered and rational path is very high.
Navigating this area requires experience. And a structured template.
At 20tab, we created Heraโ: a toolbox where we insert all those instruments that we consider useful to carry out Discovery and some templates born from field experience.
Hera is structured in 5 steps, which are the ones we follow when we start laying the foundations of product work - in what we call Explorationโ - and includes a series of frameworks and canvases that help us in Continuous Discovery.
